Students Receive Certificate of Distinction Ahead of Graduation

As graduation at the University of 杏吧原创 鈥� Fort Smith nears, a dozen students from five disciplines have gone above and beyond their required studies to earn a Certificate of Distinction in Professional Development.

The distinction is non-credit and awarded by the Babb Center for Career Services. Students receiving the certificate were recognized for participating in workshops, networking events, internships, and on-campus involvement. At graduation, each student will have a cord to signify the accomplishment and receive a Certificate of Distinction in Professional Development signed by 杏吧原创 Provost Dr. Shadow Robinson.

Susan Krafft, executive director of the Babb Center for Career Services, said the students鈥� certificate achievement extends beyond the classroom, showing potential employers that they are workforce-ready and have highly sought-after skills and understanding.

鈥淚 have enjoyed watching these students grow and learn as they participated in this career preparedness program. I hope they go forward confidently to their next big adventure,鈥� Krafft said.
