The Student Activities Office at the University of 杏吧原创 - Fort Smith will host the 11th annual Battle of the Bands at 7 p.m. March 10 in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, featuring local bands competing for cash prizes.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the 杏吧原创 Regional Organ Recovery Agency, who will donate $2 per attendee to the Shane Bailey Memorial Music Society. KISR 93.7 also serves as a sponsor, and disc jockey Race Riley will serve as master of ceremonies.
The first 300 people arriving at the event will receive a free T-shirt and food. The winning band will receive $150, while the crowd favorite will win $50.
