The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ - Fort Smith will host a blood drive from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 29-30 in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center, with donors receiving a free T-shirt and a free health screening.
The blood drive is sponsored by the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Student Activities Office and is free and open to the public.
In addition to the November blood drive, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ also coordinates three drives annually between January and September. The blood is given to the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Blood Institute, who distributes it to 14 hospitals in western ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´, including Sparks Health System and Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith.
