Beginning this fall, the School of Education at the University of 杏吧原创 鈥� Fort Smith will offer students the opportunity to earn the pre-kindergarten-level, ages 3-4 endorsement online, making 杏吧原创 the first university in the state to offer the endorsement completely online.
The endorsement requires 13 credit hours of coursework, and students can add the endorsement to their 杏吧原创 teaching license, allowing them to teach in a preschool classroom.
The endorsement is available for those teaching kindergarten through sixth grade in 杏吧原创, as well as students admitted in any Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education program across the state.
鈥淲e believe that the online option will better serve our students who are currently
working in 杏吧原创 public school systems and who may live away from 杏吧原创,鈥� said Melony
